Starting Tomorrow, I will only eat fruit, salad and chicken.I will only drink water. But I cant be bothered exercising with school starting a stuff…So I’ll just go on the wii fit for an hour. I’ll do it till December, do you think i will loose weight? if so how much? love your blog by the way xo

That’s very good! Just make sure you eat enough, spread over a whole day (this sounds weird but it keeps your metabolism high, so you won’t gain weight!) I don’t know how much weight you’ll lose, but don’t panic if you don’t lose weight the first month, because the first month you’ll only lose water. After that you’ll start burning fat. But it’s a healthy lifestyle you’re describing right there! Just don’t suddenly stop in December and start eating lots of fat food, because you might gain the weight you’ve lost x2. Good luck! all summer i was at a place working and i lost alot of weight and toned up very well now im finished i cant stop eating and sitting around doing nothing and i dont want todo that i want to stay on the diet thing or stay like i was while working but i no i cant and it doesnt help that i have a head since my last day and im being told that if i eat it will go away ... which doesnt work , im afrade that all the weight and all i lost is being put back on and doubled ,, any advice ??

It won’t be doubled or anything, unless you only sit on a sofa eating all day. But however, the trick to stay the way you want is to eat 3 meals a day and in between things like an apple and so on. Because that way your metabolism will stay high and you won’t gain weight. Also go biking or do something you love maybe tennis or go running. You don’t really need to work out everyday.

Dieting

Everyone has their problem areas which leads to the belief that you can target specific areas of your body to start burning fat. Unlike building muscle, where you can concentrate on particular muscle groups to reshape specific areas, your body fat works as a system. It’s not possible to target one area of your body fat, without influencing other areas. If your primary goal is to reduce the size of your legs, you’ll need to focus on lowering your overall body fat to start seeing results.

Adopting a diet with large portions of your calories coming from protein and whole grain foods will influence your body to start burning through excess body fat for energy. Switching to foods with whole grain, and reducing the amount of high sugar foods in your diet can also help reduce your overall body fat.

Warm up

Run up a flight of stairs, then walk down. Be safe and use the handrail. This should only be done when there are no other people on the stairs, or you might hit them! Take 10 trips to the top. That will lift your butt and tone your thighs. If you don’t have stairs around, then get a step and step up and down 10 times with each leg in lead.

Excercises

Once you’ve warmed up, do side squats. To do this, stand with heels wider than shoulders, toes out. Squat until your hips are even with knees. Come up halfway, then step your right leg toward your left to bring both feet together. Step back into a squat with your left leg. Do 5 times, then repeat in the other direction.

Do Reverse Kicks. Get on forearms and knees. Lift one leg at a 90 degree angle, pushing heel to the ceiling. Hold for 3 seconds. Lower leg until knee is parallel to the floor. Do 2 sets of 12 with each leg.

Jog for 10 minutes or a mile. This may also be substituted by 7-10 minutes of skipping a jump rope, just make sure you do it properly.

Kick your legs up to your butt. These are called butt kicks or kick backs.

Run and lift your knees up to waist height.

Walk for about 5 minutes to slow your heart rate.

Stretch or walk around for 15 seconds to cool.

Physical sport will also help. Things like hockey, soccer, netball, riding your bike, and swimming are all good ways to burn leg fat.

Break into a jog every chance you get! And try to drink LOTS of water - best carried around in a bottle for easier drinking.

Sprint up and down a low bench or step about one foot high for one minute after you have done stretches/exercises for a few minutes then after repeat or do different stretches.

Remember, after you exercise, stretch or walkabout for about 15 sec so your body can cool down. If you get bored then put on some music that makes you want to dance and move to motivate you. If you don’t exactly want to exercise, just doing housework will slowly but surely burn leg fat.

Stretch! It’s very important to do before and after your workout. Not only does this prevent soreness and injuries, but it stretches the muscle so that your legs won’t bulk up.

More tips for a flat stomach
  • Going to see a personal trainer or a doctor can help greatly as they can give you a dietary/work-out plan that will help you keep at your desired weight rather than going over it alone.
  • Get someone to work out with you so you’ll inspire each other. If you can’t find anyone, try imagining you are with someone you know, a celebrity or an athlete with abs you admire (this usually works better than actually working out with the said athlete). Pretend they’re with you as you work out.
  • Music will also do wonders to get a workout moving along! Make sure it’s upbeat and motivating.
  • While crunches are good for your abdominal muscles, make sure that you have a well-rounded weight loss program. Millions of crunches won’t help if you eat buckets of ice cream every day!
  • Be patient! Some people find it harder to obtain a flat stomach than others, as this is dependent on your own personal fitness level.
  • Doing crunches on an exercise ball will specifically target your abdominal muscles, while doing them on the floor strengthens mostly hip muscle. Just the act of balancing on the ball alone will help tone abdominal muscles.
  • Find something that you enjoy doing that involves a lot of movement, for example jogging, biking, wiifit, etc.
  • Drinking more water can help flush out toxins from your body.
  • Cut out refined carbs. Foods such as white bread, pastas, potatoes, and white rice are rich in refined carbs and should be taken out of your diet. They have less nutrients and vitamins then the non refined kinds. Eat brown rice and whole wheat bread instead.
  • Drink more herbal tea, such as green tea, as this will help you lose the saturated fats in your body.
  • Drinking without the addition of milk, sugar, or honey is best.
  • Do NOT starve yourself! If you do, your results will be temporary and you will feel frustrated sooner (and will give up quicker). When you starve yourself, your body goes into something called “starvation mode” and it causes your body to slow down your metabolism (the thing that digests your food) and causes minimal weight loss. While you might think that by not eating completely is most effective, in essence, it could do permanent harm to your body as well as make it hard to keep off the weight.
  • Don’t go overboard with the crunches. Your body will tell you when you need to rest. Take a quick break, deep breaths, and then continue until your workout is complete.

Flat stomach by summer!

It is advised to take food as raw food in order to avoid the loss of enzymes that get it cooking food decreases its nutritive value. 

Eat healthier and cut down junk food, such as replacing potato chips and chocolates with fruits. You’ll see a world of difference. Dont forget to get better sleep everyday.

Watch how many soft drinks you consume. Drink plenty of water instead of soda. Water will make it easier to lose weight. Consider flavored water as an alternative if you must. Drinking lemon water is said to be a natural way of speeding up your metabolism as well.

Do aerobic exercises daily at 30 minutes minimum and include 1-2 days of rest break each week. Anything that brings your heart rate up. Take up dancing, running, swimming, cycling and walking at a good pace.

Eat lots of lean protein (like beans and nuts - have some meat, it is rather good for you as long as you do not eat the fat!), fruits and dark vegetables, and whole grain breads and grains. If you eat “whole wheat” it’s like the same as eating white bread; except with white bread all the good fibers have been stripped away. These “whole grains” keep you fuller longer than white breads like cakes, cookies, and sweets. Also, stay away from high-fat dairy products.

To better work the entire abdominal region, vary your exercises: crunches work the upper abdomen, leg raises work the lower abdomen, side bends work the obliques (also known as love handles). Sure, you can do 100 daily crunches. But if you’ve got a layer of fat covering up your ab work then what’s the point? You need to burn the top layer of stomach fat to see the changes.

To increase your metabolic rate, increase the frequency of your meals to 6-8 times a day. Every 2 to 3 hours, ingest a small meal. This increased frequency will put your metabolisim into overdrive. WARNING: Do not over-eat! Small meals only. For greatest effect, only eat carbohydrates before 2:00 p.m, from then on only proteins.

Make sure you don’t eat anything 2 hours before you sleep. Your body slows down when you sleep so you can’t digest food properly. And if you go to bed really late, don’t eat past 9:30 pm, because food eaten after 9:30 pm are normally stored as fat.

Some of the best exercise for achieving flat stomach are Abdominal Crunches, Vaccum Pose and Belly Rubs, Stomach Twisting, Belly Resting Exercise, Russian Twist, Hip Raise Exercise, Dumbbell Side Bends, Leg Lift Exercise, Air Cycling, Knees In and Out, Sit Ups, Inclined Sit Ups, Front Squat, Reverse Crunches, Ball Crunches, Log Roll, Ab Tuck, The Crab Ab Workout, Side Crunches, V Crunches, Chin Up Crunches, Hanging Leg Raise and Hanging Knee Raise.

I want to lose weight in around 2 months or less. Im going on holiday soon so i really want to look skinnier then i did before. Whats the best way to lose hip weight and stomach weight? I weigh around 59 on the scales, so im 9 & a half stone and personally i think i need to lose a little more weight to be a size 8 to 10. I really need your advice, thankyou :)

I can give you lots of advice about this, but I’m thinking to make a diet plan on this site.. Just a little patience though :) You should just eat healthy food and exercise lots and lots! And most of all: don’t give up! ♥

I wanna say I love your serial killer posts and all your blog, it combines all the amazing stuff I love to see. And your advices are brilliant. :) I have a little problem, that I'd like some advice on, tho'...
I'm 15 years old and I know, people say it's not the age for dieting and I'm not even sure I need it, but all the fat that I do have is on my stomach. And I really, really want it a bit flatter. I won't go into details, but people have said stuff about me looking pregnant or just outright fat. I don't want to do this for them, but it adds to the want to get a bit thinner around my stomach. So.. Maybe some advices on how to fulfill my wish? Exercises, diets? Mmm, maybe I should try that honey thingy you suggest? Sounds healthy and nice. ;)
